Covid-19 Protocols
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and even more so now. You will see changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have updated protocols to help protect our patients and staff. We are meeting - and exceeding - the CDC and ADA guidelines. Wait til’ you see what we look like!
Here are some of our new protocols:
Appointments will be scheduled with additional time (per appointment) to manage patient flow to ensure that there will be no overlap (between patients) or wait time in the reception area, and to allow for additional sanitizing between patients.
Prior to your appointment, our office will contact you to ask several screening questions and provide instructions for your upcoming appointment.
Upon arriving, and once you are parked, please remain in your car and call us. We will let you know when to come up. Please be sure to carry only belongings that can fit into a quart-sized Zip-Lock bag.
Please wear a face mask!
Before enterIng our office, you will be greeted in the hallway to have your basic vitals taken.
Once in our office, you will be asked to place your phone, keys, and other belongings into a Zip-Lock bag, which we will provide. Next, wash your hands and pre-rinse with an antimicrobial mouthwash. You will then be escorted into the operatory.
All of our dental equipment, for both staff and patients, is either single-use disposable or sterilized after each and every use. Anything a patient comes into contact with during their visit will be disinfected before the next appointment, including door knobs and counter tops.
The Air-Filtration venting system has been cleaned and fitted with HEPA-compliant Merv 13 filters.
Please note: Because your safety is our top priority we have decided to close our Mt. Kisco location. The number of providers and patient traffic was too heavy. In our White Plains location, we have complete control over patient flow.
We miss you and look forward to seeing you soon!
Sincerely,
Dr. Roxane Dornbusch and Team
